This documentary, created by Richard Allen Kent, was released in 2009 to critical acclaim. Using his personal archive along with interviews with Bill's son Paul, co-workers of his at KTVT and personal friends, he tells the story of his early life in Mineral Wells and Ft. Worth, his TV and writing career, along with the personal tragedies and triumphs that shaped him. Using footage from home movies, his personal writings and materials from his career, the Electronic Babysitter sheds light on the life of a remarkable man. (45 min.)
